So, there is a thread out there for shipping primers… which is illegal. Not locked.

There is/was another thread posted today where a new member asked where he could sell brass, not trying to sell brass, just asking where/how to sell brass… but that is locked because he doesn’t have enough posts on the message boards? W.T.F.

go ahead and lock this thread too.
 
discussing Mod action is also not allowed. Not trying to boot lick but I think the Mods “HERE” are fare.

I get locked all the time, it’s just the internet, don’t take it personally man.
 
Not taking it person, Mark. Sometimes I don’t think things are truly thought though by mods and others. It’s not a mod thing, it’s a community thing. New guy asked a legitimate question. But the thread with illegal intentions is A.O.K.

I respectfully disagree, sir. Plenty of threads (almost all threads) where the OPs question is answered are still open. The thread closed today was due to the poster not having enough “post counts” on the message board.

Anyhow, I digress. Not stirring the pot, just shedding light on how members are pushed away from this message board/community.

Seems to me that threads are left open when questions have more than one valid answer or (mostly) more than one opinion. There was only one answer to the OP's question in the locked thread. Walkalong answered it. There was no need for more discussion which would have most likely just confused the issue. Nothing to see here.

Is how I ended that thread, a good explanation I thought.

The best way to deal with Mod issues is to PM the mod, or report the mod to the rest of the staff to look at. I'm always happy to explain my actions via PM. I have even changed my mind before, but it needs to be a good reason delivered diplomatically. Attacks generally don't wok well.
