I’m sure there’s a buyer somewhere. But for $98,000 or more savings, an actual working duplicate can be had.

Come to think of it, I sort of already have a duplicate, except the grips are fake with Colt medallions.

I bought it in the 80’s when the Officer model first came out.

Hmm. I thought he got him with the 12ga Pacino grabbed off the cop outside the hotel, he must've shot it empty during the pursuit and pulled the 1911 sometime during the airfield scene. Great movie. Great guns...
 
Having Pacino and DeNiro in one movie is enough, but it was also a great movie.

Paying $100G's for a movie prop, no matter who shot it, not so much.
 
Heat? Never saw it. I have it on a list of movies everyone says I need to watch now that it has been brought to my attention. About the 1911, that's a big ol' no.
 
I prefer my Colt CCO, an Officer's frame with a Commander slide. I don't know whether they are rare, but the one I have is the only one I've ever seen. But that movie has plenty of good shootouts, the final one included.
