She's a beauty. Certainly fits my definition of a "pretty gun."

I like nicely finished guns, my Golden Boy looks wonderful.

I don't really like engraving.

Yes. I like pretty much any gun. Being able to afford pretty guns is another story.

Just because a firearm is pretty, doesn't mean it's not a user. Wasn't Elmer Keith's No. 5 his daily gun for a while?

I have a pair of Beretta 92 S surplus pistols that were professionally cerakoted in alternating colors and with matching G-10 grips. I'm not really into fancied up guns but bought these on a whim. I'm not sure what I was thinking that day.

Exactly! I don't know why but there always seems to be this assumption that it's either/or, that a firearm can't be beautiful and still do its job. Keith's #5 was reblued two or three times during his lifetime. He carried his engraved guns every day.

Nickel and engraving for me seems to be something that becomes more attractive with my own age. Although, I always wanted a pair of high-polish nickel Colt 45's with ivory grips.
I throw this in the mix, it is nicknamed "Boss Hog". I hope you can appreciate the reference.

Amen to what 308 Norma said. I don't particularly like the look of a Glock, but If I had to pick a handgun to trust my life to it would probably be a glock.

There's alot of nice guns in this thread but we need something like a nickel plated semi auto with pearl grips

life's too short to shoot ugly guns.
