I didn't realize that they were made of gold, Joking. I lost my 10 rounder somehow. Nobody has them in stock and searching I found them on Ebay for up to $150. Each. I did find one for $59. I bought it then found another one on a CZ sight I ordered it and found out It was in Europe someplace. Shipping isn't cheap either. For the price of a pair of magazines and shipping and tax I could have bought a cheap .22. Anyone find a cheaper alternative?

That is one thing I like about my 10/22...magazine price and availability. I still think about picking up a CZ every once in a while though.

Go looking for a Remington Model 37 magazine if you want some sticker shock. I paid over 200 bucks for a used one a few years ago.

Thats what I always get a kick out of. When people talk about an AR vs a Mini-14 and ARs have cheap magazines but a real 30 round factory mag for a Mini-14 cost $30. And the same people will beat the drum for buying a CZ 22 rifle and 5 round magazines sell for $30+ on Midway USA.

I got them from the CZ site a while back on sale with free shipping. It looks like they don’t even sell mags anymore.

For a bolt action? I just ordered two 10 rounders from Go Outdoor Gear last week for my 457, price was $33 shipped each. Looks like they're out of stock at the moment. Dack Outdoors recently had them too. I'd just be patient

I bought two 10-rounders when I bought my 455 a while back. I will agree that you’re right, they’re not inexpensive at all :(.

Good luck finding some that don’t break the bank .
Stay safe.

Try finding a magazine for a CZ 511. A group of enthusiasts in the UK was trying to have them made, not sure how far they got.

I guess I will pay price and try not to misplace it again.

Several years ago I bought a CZ 452LH from Gander Mountain. The rifle came with one 5 round steel mag. I ordered two more and think I paid about maybe $10 or $15 each for two more CZ steel 5 round magazines. I about choked when I saw what they now sell for. Even the little 5 round flavors. Seeing some on Gun Broker in the $35 to $40 range if I read it right. Brownell's just shows out of stock. I also had no idea. :)

Today a friend looked at my 452 Lux and said that they are getting $1000. For them now.

I have a Zastava (was Yugoslavia, now Serbia) .22 rifle. It was also known as the Remington model 5 (imported and re-stocked). I have one magazine for it, a five shooter. It is a bolt action rifle.
I see no need to have extra magazines for fast reloads. Five shots should be sufficient (perhaps over qualified) in the purpose for which I own this rifle.
One doesn't want to lose that one magazine. So it stays in the rifle when not required to be out. (Range commands and transport.)

Cz 22lr steel mags have been 35-40 since at least 2017. I bought a 452 around that time (used, for $275) and it came with a plastic mag. I wanted a steel mag but at those prices… I’ve made do just fine with plastic.
