Are the Remington 12ga screw in rifled choke any good?

I found no real difference when using Foster slugs and the rifles choke tube. Minor, if any, with several kinds of sabots. My personal belief is that the slug is going too fast by the time it hits the choke for one inch of very shallow rifling to have much effect.

I have also seen no difference.

I, however, used a factory branded Browning rifled Invector Plus choke in a 12 ga BPS. The choke is 4-5 inches long and might have a 1/4 turn total spin through that length.

I too have not seen any real difference between a rifled choke and a normal improved cylinder choke.

Rifled chokes don’t work.

makes a very good spreader choke for very close shots on small game.

A rifled come doesn't make that much of a difference .... A rifled barrel would make a difference.

the rifled choke tube does act like a spreader choke, i have patterernd it at 15 yards.
