.40 and .357 Sig Glock mags would fit that magwell. One could build the gun in either of those cartridges as well.Love how it (probably) only accepts 9mm Glock mags, yet they marked it "Multi Cal" lol.
Always thought the Calico was cool- in a 1988 Miami Vice villian sort of way.Wow ! And me with just a Ruger Charger and of course my wonderful old Calico 900 . I just resprung the Calico , if kept clean and use 50 round mags it has been very reliable for 25 years and also bought their scope mount to put on A Holosun 510

OMG! Funny! Thanks. My current 9 is via Stern. And it works very well. The pic info states that Glock is the mag. This is highly my preference. At first my Wife thought this thing was just gonna chew up way too much ammo. Then she starts shooting it. Next thing she did was go to Berry's and ordered 2K of RN 147's. I think she changed her mind!On a dedicated PC lower, they hold the ejector in place, like this-

What lube do you like? and thanks for the read!I had an Uzi Model A , with the active 16" barrel I bought from a soldier at the old Fort Ord, face to face when it was legal in early 80s for a princely sum of $400 with 5 magazines. I traded that Uzi for a as new HK 94 collapsible , with 16" barrel from another military fellow in 90 to complete my HK collection I actively campaigned in the 80s of 91 and 93 models and go with the new Glock 17 I had just bought. I sold the HK 94 just weeks before the 1999 Ca. Assault rifle registration for $3000 and registered the Calico 900 with a 100 round mag and four 50s along with a bunch of other "assault rifles" . That effectively grandfathered in the "hi capacity" mags too. A least it did, as Ca. govt. welches on it's side of deals.
Anyway I thought the Calico was a fun little toy, the sights crude but real easy to adjust in a shooting session and work ok to 50 yards. I used to shoot dirt cheap foreign ammo in it but found out quickly for some reason the action get very dirty in a few hundred rounds and you must scrub it CLEAN and lube with attention to the bolt rollers ect. Then you were golden and it happily eats all ball ammo , It will eat some rounded profile hollow poins, but who can afford to feed it 50+ round boxes of that ? I actually like the Calico above the Ruger , if I could SBR it and screw on a can I'd be real happy. But it is my truck gun as is , replacing the Marlin 1894 .357 after my thumb fell off in a "lever acrtion carbine class" I took in early 2000s
The Ruger PCC Charger is very kewl beans and of course I use Glock mags in it. Very reliable and very easy to keep clean and very compact and accurate with the Vortex Spitfire I put on it . It soon will be a host for the Ecco Machine Phoenix IV that is in waiting period. I found out there is PCC only Practical events now locally !
Thanks. Shoud'a asked first, but where do you like to purchase these?Synthetic Slip 2000 Grease on rubbing surfaces and Balistol on all internal small parts and carriers ect. I use that formula on everything that shoots !
During hi volume training sessions with ARs I used to carry a small squeeze bottle of Marvel Mystery oil to duoce the bolt carrier. It is a bit messy for a few shots but kept them perking .
LGS .. Local Gun Store (s)Thanks. Shoud'a asked first, but where do you like to purchase these?
The internet it is! Where I live there is no such thing as a LGS. But I really like the idea! So kidding aside, I was at our LGS - the only one within 70 miles - and the owner was telling me how Glock doesn't warrant their barrels if you re-load. Come to find out that he's a retired military to a retired Sheriff to the owner of this LGS. The story was that he shot a squib and followed it with another which blew the barrel. He then went to Glock for a warranty issue. I'd never have thought that a guy with this much background would have even tried to make a claim much less tell people this story. Now I just kinda stay away.LGS .. Local Gun Store (s)
