Man those are beautiful I strongly prefer that old school ribbed fore grip. My dad always calls those honey comb style. As far as the wood goes I don't really see what the big deal is. I've used stuff with worse looking stocks than that. Idk what you mean by not much use for them either. Good tree top squirrel gun or long range rabbit gun if your into that sort of thing. Too bad they ain't for sale I'd buy em both! Don't you dare molest them pieces of history with a hack saw like some animal! Have a little respect for the classics!
