Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

@Archie, the 7x57 sounds good. Any chance of a picture?
I said I would. (In process of overhauling my gun room and everything takes longer.)
Still haven't figured out how to make photos look better, but I'm working on it.

@Archie, very nice; thanks!
Thank you most kindly. I have wanted a 7x57mm for several years now. This one was available. No one seems to make them anymore. Ah, fashion! How fickle you can be...

One see the original sights, fore and aft. The stock appears to be too heavy. I think I would have this one - I do like the wood and color - 'thinned' and finished in more a stalking configuration. Also, the bore is a bit 'murky'. Not sure if corroded or just dirty. So I'm going to clean it prior to shooting it. And on that note, bullet weight presents itself. Probably for most 'typical' North America game - especially that I will encounter - the 139/140 grain size seems sufficient. If I have to dispatch an elephant, I'll move up to 175 grain solids, of course. And it has a stock trigger. I'll have to upgrade that just to live with myself.

200 Starline .32H&R mag cases, 100 .312 100grn HBWC bullets and 100 .314 120grn SWC’s.
Something to keep me busy for the rest of the Michigan winter.

Let’s see, what did I, I mean my wife buy me for Christmas, bench prime and shell holders, range bag, hand deprimer, case trim express, a new b22 precision rifle from Savage (should be at cabelas tomorrow)

It's been too cold, so I couldn't get to the range earlier this month. But yesterday it was 60, so finally made it with my Sig 320 X5 Legion. My wife brought her new CZ Shadow 2. Needless to say, we went over the handgun budget this month...

Nothing for me im stocked up on everything reloaded related for the calibers i shoot andci've sold a bunch of stuff for the calibers i no longer own

I stumbled across a Faxon 350 Legend barrel for $149. Great buy for a 16 inch Gunner model. It arrived yesterday!

Henry .410 lever-action carbine-length shotgun. $750. For that price, obviously used, and obviously not the new and highly in-demand side-gate loader. But I don't mind tube loading and in the end the same job gets done.

DeSantis clip grip for my Model 36 round butt snub daily carry. Actually bought this three weeks ago from Midway.

For years I’ve used a leather DeSantis “Black Widow” holster. Can’t believe how well this clip grip works. Left side goes against my undershirt and it clips between my belt and waistband at my 4 o’clock. Surprisingly it’s very secure and very comfortable. No problem sitting or standing. Not compatible with speed loaders so I've gone back to speed strips.

$23 at Midway and Amazon. $25 -$30 everywhere else.
