You already have the perfect rifle for elk, but you need more guns lol.Ughhh.......guess ill see if my ffl buddy can get me one
Need a new gun anyway for that elk trip my dad keeps talking about......
Did eurooptic extend the free stock it says December 31. I'm trying to see where one of these will fit in for me, it is heavy but I don't have the range to need a heavy rifle. I do want to try one of the European type pistol grip stocks, there the only ones I've thought looked good. If they did a mauser m18 in one is get that, not sure if Sauer does a 100 in a thumb hole or at least for here.
The S20 is the finest factory rifle I’ve ever owned! In fact it might well be the most accurate rifle I own. What an incredible gun for the money! I think I need one in .300 now. But I’ll wait to see if they do a .300 PRC and in a lighter maybe a carbon version.
First post here,I shot seven rounds of Hornady 143gr ELD-X at the 500 yard target. First five shots look to be around 0.5 moa but shot #6 went right and #7 went high. Shooter error, load error or a combination of both, I'm not sure. The 143gr ELD-X shoots about the same as it does in the Kimber, not terrible, not great but certainly good enough for many hunting scenarios. Overall I'm impressed with this rifle and look forward to working up a load for it once the Redding dies show up.
No excuses here but from day one the target has been partially obscured by some fir tree branches and was for the group below. That's no longer an issue so I can now see the entire plate from my shooting position vs. 50% of it.
I'm going to clean the rifle tomorrow to see if there's much copper in the bore and then maybe I'll check zero at 100 yards with 147gr ELD Match followed by one shot on steel at 200, 400, 500 and 700 yards to see how it does. Then I'll leave it alone until I can work up a load for it.

First post here,
I have a Sako S20 Precision in 6.5 Creedmoor (I know yours is a 6.5 PRC).
I only made it half way through page 4 before I ordered one.
Cabelas have their demo models on sale for 500 off.
What "flavor" did you order?
How did you do that? I called Cabela's and the CS rep said it could not be ordered online and I'd have to pick it up at the store. Fine I say, "What store? I'm in KC, that store?" She doesn't know and does not know how to find out. I persisted and figure there must be a way to find which store has the rifles. So I have to find out on THR?? Weird!!6.5 creedmoor in the precision furniture.
I started the paperwork yesterday at the local shop and was able to view it(Illinois-still a waiting period). It appeared to be in perfect order.
I was a little concerned with ordering a demo/scratch and dent rifle sight unseen. But $500 off is worth the risk sometimes.
