Capacity of the handgun you carry most of the time.

Could be any of these three choices, depending on what I'm doing and where I'm going.

FNX .357SIG w/ state limit 10 round mag. Also have 2 extra 10 round magazines on my belt.

I carry a Sig P938 it's a 7rd from the factory but with an added mag base I get 8 in the mag + 1 in the chamber, I do carry a spare mag full with 8rds.

8. S&W shield 9mm.

I carry a J frame

Health issues have consigned me to the .380, but now that I have the LCP MAX and P365-380, it's 10+1 all the time. I have a 6+1 LCP II, but it's too much for me to shoot more than a few mags at a time, and I rarely carry it.

7 or 8... a Kahr CM9 or CW9, respectively.

Snub revolver, Kahr CM9 or Ruger LCP. Those are my carry guns. All 7 shot or less. Always have a reload on my person and another in the truck.

7 rounds of .380 or 8 of 9mm. Sometimes 5 of .38, but I’m increasingly finding the J-frame less instinctive presenting from the pocket than the little autos. Not sure what that’s about but I think it’s down to grip shape. The autos come out squarely and firmly gripped but the revolver grip requires a choke-up to be similarly secure in the hand. Might be the holster and not the grip.

I typically carry two, both of which fall into the last class.

Taurus G2C, thirteen rounds, and Ruger LCP-MAX, eleven rounds on board. A spare, 12-round magazine for the Ruger is also on board. This totals 36 rounds.

When traveling in uniform to and from my no-carry job site, only the Ruger rides along, and it has thirteen rounds on board (I switch magazines on work days.)

There is frequently a third (when I remember), which falls into the first class, a NAA Mini. That gun is never carried alone, though. My intention has been to one day ditch the belt gun, making the Ruger the primary.

442 snub and no reload.

Lately its 2 rounds, one per barrel. I work retail so in the summer its small guns only. If i need more than 2 rounds of 45 Colt, i likely shouldnt be drawing my gun. I do carry a speed strip with 4 more 45s and a pair of .410 shells. American Derringer M-1

When i can wear a jacket, its a Glock 20 with 15+1 rounds of 10mm.

And no, never ever reloads.

6 rounds or less. Examples: snub, most revolvers, Kahr CM or PM40

10 rounds or less. Examples: Kahr CM/PM9, Kahr P9, 1911 in 45 acp

11 rounds or more. Examples: Sig 365, Glock 26/48, Ruger LCP Max

The gun I carry most of the time is a Glock26, so anywhere between 10 and 33.

Unless I wanted to get a 50 round drum.

And of course, always a reload

Colt Commander… 38 Super… 9 round magazine and a spare.

I know, not enough rounds and an underpowered cartridge. But it works for me until it doesn’t.

38 Super is only underpowered compared to a 357/10mm/44Mag.

Either 1911 or Beretta Nano. Both are 8 rounds plus spare mags, but if I need more than 8 rounds my plan is to run away.

7 round S&W 686+ or a Shield Plus 10+1.

Either 6, or 9+1, depending on whether I have the M66-1 or the .40 S&W SA EMP4. The M66-1 (2-1/2"RB) is the most concealable handgun I have for carry.

I took that to mean reloaded or handloaded ammo, not a spare mag lol.
