Anyone use a Pro Chrono DLX?

@Axis II I hope you won't mind me popping a question in here myself.

For Pro Chrono DLX users how do they fair in hot weather? I have the Caldwell right now and after being in the sun for a bit (I can't shade it on the public range) it starts to get haywire and starts throwing out crazy readings it picks up from other people shooting on the range, sometimes as many as 10 benches down.

In AZ during the summer the heat is definitely an issue for any electronics operating in the sun but I'm wondering if the Pro Chrono fairs any better than Caldwell, if so I may make the jump at some point.

I have the older model with the BT adapter. Never had a problem with heat. Now sun is a different story. I use the sun shades all the time, mainly to help me with alignment. Sometimes I will put a weight on the tripod and flip it to the side to get the sun out of the windows. I use iPhone app, never a connection problem.

I just ordered one and it should arrive tomorrow. My previous chrony was a Caldwell Ballistic Precision that was ruthlessly murdered by a hot 38 Special's 158 gr LSWC at nearly 950 fps. It was OK but I has to use the cord to attach it to my phone to get full data. I think I'll use my new Pro Chrono more because set up should be easier with Blue Tooth.
You will love the convenience of the DLX! They also have a laptop app you can manipulate the data with if you so desire.
