The 2015 cattleman has the birdhead grip, I have plowhead grip and backstrap for it too, trying to locate matching plows, trying to get the checkered wood ones from Uberti but they seem unattainable at the moment. They are both short strokes, works great with my short stiff thumbs.

After seeing derick45s Taylor SAA, and looking at the pictures day after day I was convinced that I needed one too.
To make a long story short, after yet another medical debacle I decided that today was the day.
Stopped at my LGS and that Taylor Smoke Wagon was still there!

That is a knockout! I have an Uberti/Taylors "Old Randall" in .45 Colt, but, it's not akin to yours. But, they shoot. And shoot well. You scored a beauty there.
