While I know this isn't a real scientific test, but I decided to shoot some of these bullets into milk jugs full of water. All 4 lead cores stopped in the third jugs, with the jackets stopping in the 2nd jugs. I measured the maximum expansion.

.701 at the widest point. Very impressive. Screenshot_20220926_084531.jpg Screenshot_20220926_084456.jpg

Impressive! I recently bought these as well with the same idea in mind. I don't have the powder you used, but would you mind sharing the velocity, or expected velocity?

If I had to take a guess I would say around 1050 or so. Shot out of a Ruger commander size 1911. I originally planned to get some chronograph numbers yesterday also, but we were having so much fun shooting, I ended up shooting 2 of the loads I wanted to chronograph. Hopefully sometime this week I will get some numbers ran.

Thanks for sharing with us! I just received my purchase of RMR"s JHP 124gr "NUKES"!

I haven't had time to try them yet. But I'm looking forward to getting some loaded with my True Blue as well!!! I am pleased with all the other items I've gotten from them!

Please share your "crono" results from your test! Many Thanks!!!

You can go higher with TrueBlue if you work up. I get nearly 1100fps with it out of a P938.
Whatever works for you!

My book is showing 5.9 max for True Blue in 9mm+P. How high did you end up going? For another comparison, I've found the max standard load of Unique, at 5.8gr gives me 1148fps out of the same gun, with the same load.

If memory serves… I think I was at 6.0gr
I figured that was high enough!
No funny looking primers or cases.

Thanks for the info. I may try to push a little more with the True Blue. Worse case, I'll load them up with some Unique.

I tried tried the 124gr Rmr Nuke with True Blue in a S&W Shield + w/a 3.1" barrel with two loads,
Brass- FC
primer- WSP
powder/charge- 5.3gr True Blue
bullet-124gr JHP "Nuke"
COL 1.08"
H=978 fps
L=965
ES=13
SD=5
X5 shots
2nd,
Brass FC
primer-wsp
powder/charge- 5.5gr True Blue
bullet- 124gr JHP "Nuke"
COL 1.08"
H=992 fps
L=987 fps
ES=13
SD=4
X5 shots
Notes, brass was the same head stamp and sorted by resizing resistance, the resistance on the brass was medium.
Accuracy was okay, I had similar results with a Sig P938 but with the124gr RMR MW and True Blue.

Thanks to all for sharing your test results with True Blue. I do not have a "crono" yet. Slated for my next purchase!

I like True Blue with RMR 124gr RN & MW with 5.3gr so I think I'll stay there until I get one. Trying to be safe!!!
