It arrives but you can only stare at it because the one key part you need comes the next day :(.

Anyway, this is not a complaint - actually meant for a bit of levity. My new Lee pro 6000 arrived, along with the dies, bushings, powder check, etc. All except my mounting plate from Inline Fab. So, I really can't do anything but admire it :). Oh well, one more day and I can start tinkering.

You can study it, and do mock ups, like the c-clamps like Higgite already said.
I did the same thing when mine arrived, I had to make a new riser for it so until it was done I was studying the mechanics of it.
It's not the same as bolting it down to something permanently and actually loading with it. But take the time to get intimate with it. Check to see if the pin in the primer chute actually touches the frame post like it's supposed to and all those things Live Life has on his write ups about it.
But yeah, I get it, can't play with the new toy really sucks.

Yup - I've been messing with it. Sometimes I just don't think - why didn't a clamp occur to me??... Anyway, the only thing I find odd so far is that the spent primer tube gets compressed and bent on each downstroke. Glad to see that I have a unit with all the latest updated parts as far as I can tell.

in the same boat. picked up a t7 monday. got it home and messed around with it. did a quick clamp to the bench and quickly realized the roller handle comes down to far with it flush mounted. put 4" of wood under it and tried again and it was perfect. so i proceeded to order an inline fab micro base and waiting on it to arrive...

Yeah, I ended up using some woodworking clamps I had. Should be a moot point once I get home from work today. Anyway, I got the Double Alpha magnetic powder check.

If it’s screwing it to the kitchen table be sure to pre-drill, then you can say to the wife guests will hardly notice when I move it to my mount. :D

Is it a good idea to use mineral spirits to clean off surfaces - especially where there is grease?
I wouldn't hesitate to use this for areas with a bunch of grease, but - to finish I'd use gun cleaning solvent and then hit it with an oily rag.

Tell me about waiting.

I've been waiting since 2 May 2022 for my suppressor e-file paperwork to be approved.

Almost 9 full months, and no reason to believe it will happen soon. At least another 2 months wait.
Ive been waiting since June 5th 2022 for a SilencerCo Sparrow suppressor so I'm right there with you! Can't wait to shoot my CZ 457 Pro Varmint with it!

Best part ?

Just after I typed that whiney complaint, I checked email.

As of today my suppressor paperwork has a tax stamp on it.

Woohoo!!! Still don't have it in hand, more hoops to jump through. Another couple weeks hopefully.
