If I was coming into those kinds of clearance deals on rifles, it'd be the perfect excuse for me to put the rifle MSRP $$$ into the optic. Those are some sweet deals. Do they do them anymore? I'm curious because I occasionally ask them to scan the tags ever since seeing some of your posts indicating that these deals were out there
When Walmart started displaying blue and wood mini's I was in love. Some time ago and I've only owned stainless and black. Hmm, thanks for bringing that up.They did them before COVID every year, mostly Remington and Savage, but some Henry's too. I always look at the prices tags next to the guns in the locked racks when I'm in a Walmart, but I don't work there anymore, so it's not that often. I have yet to see a clearance in a couple years.
Well done, @Armored farmer, I love it!One day, one day only, because tomorrow will be .224
Now that's a winning pairToday Two, Four Two, Two, Three!
I shot 2 of my 22's yesterday cause I don't have a 222. One was my MK2 and the other my MK4. (2+2.. )This was a fun thread. It looks like we're winding down. I just wish I had thought of it yesterday so we could have a .222 day.
Thanks for all the pics and responses.
I am a bit surprised by how many claimed. 223 as their favorite cartridge? I hadn't really considered it, but I do have many more rifles in that caliber than anything else, except 22 rimfire.
SweetMr @Ks5shooter 's Beautiful rifle with its laminated stock prompts me to post another lowly Handi-Rifle in .223. This one with a laminated thumbhole stock and 3-9x42 Nikon.
