Well, it’s been 223 all day today…

My .223 is a Savage 110 Storm. Almost boringly accurate ( POA vs. POI ) with loads it likes even though it`s a hunting rifle in all respects as opposed to a target gun.

Well?
It’s been March 8th all day long.
Evidently there aren’t as many passionate lovers of the 308 Winchester as there are the 223 Remington!

Or they just don’t show it?
Taking the “just as good 30” for granted?

I know it’s not as versatile as a 30-06, but it’s not terrible. Certainly better than a stick. And nearly as exciting, too!
It can’t run the heavies, but it can run lightweight bullets to what a few might call fast.
It fits in rifle actions that are an entire, full half inch shorter than a normal action. All without fitting long seated bullets!
And as far as fun, it’s almost some!

What can I say, I’m a double deuce aficionado! And I’m not afraid to tell you about it!:neener:
