Sarah Brady. Just more liberals using her like they used sarah brady to push their agenda. This is beyond sad. Mr Brady and Cindy's son knew that their jobs had a risk of danger or death and they took it based on thier own convictions and free will. Somebody please put a coat around Cindy's shoulders and take her away to heal her soul.....what she is doing is not healthy.

She is a lady overcome with grief. She is being manipulated by the media to the point she comes off looking lilke a useful idiot. Her problem is she has a history of anti-war activism so she is not completely innocent. Media will drop her like a bad transmission just as soon as congress gets back into session.

Not healthy for who... herself or GWB's crazy warmongering agenda????

I voted for the man in 2000, but now I am beginning to fear that he is worse than a "RINO" - either a total fool (manipulated by others) or a madman.

But hey - we gotta "make the world safe for demoncracy" - who are we gonna invade next?

What she is doing is embarassing her family, especially her son. Her husband is already divorcing her.

She's got her own agenda now, and she's using her son's memory as the capital.

She's a show. And when people get tired of her, especially the media as Waitone has pointed out, she'll be left all alone, talking to herself, trying to get people to listen to her ramblings.

The woman is just plain nuts. She's a raging foaming-at-the-mouth lefty who found a way to climb onto the top of the soapbox. Unfortunately, her son's body is under that box.

The whole thing is so dead-on stereotypical it's surreal. The media should be ashamed of themselves (as if that was possible), she's very obviously mentally ill or at the least unstable. She needs to be left alone.

Or another way to look at it; Cindy Sheehan isn't being used. She's done a fantastic job of taking tragedy and using it to further her own personal crusade.

Cindy Sheehan was a rabid anti-Bush, anti-war, hard leftist activist long before her son even signed up for service, she just didn't have the advantage of national media coverage.

She dishonors her son and belittles the deaths of every American who ever died in uniform. :fire:

Liberals will walk across the bodies of a thousand dead soldiers and innocent civilians just to throw a rock at a Republican. :cuss:

She's a nasty piece of work . . . I noticed that during her rants, her anti-Semitism is starting to come through, too. :barf:

Wasn't it Mark Twain who wrote that it's better to be silent and be thought a fool, rather than to open your mouth and remove all doubt?

Actually I hope Iran is next on the invasion list. Since we' re already on both sides of them, might as well. After that Syria needs serious ass-kicking. If it quiets down, let the troops cool off in the Mediterranean before going on to kickSaudi Arabia's, who is ultimately paying for all the fundamentalist crap. Then we can pull our tankers up to the wells and fill up. Since the liberal jackasses are trying to convince us :neener: this is a war for oil, I'm ready to go back to 50 cent a gallon gas. Joe

+1 LOL Let's get it on.

As for the lady, well, she's a sad case, she's being used but is letting herself be used too. She's leaving today, her mother had a stroke so she's outta there.

Last Sunday I was relaxing at my family's lake cabin. I came across an article on Ms. Sheehan in the paper, and passed it to my mother to read. When she was finished I told her that if something should happen to me in this war and she turned my death into a political tool, she'd be dishonoring me. Ms. Sheehan has done the same. Her son signed a contract voluntarily to be a soldier. If he didn't like the possibility that he might have to go to war, even one he disagreed with, and might get killed in said war, he'd have found another line of work.

Ms. Sheehan brings shame to herself, her son, and every American soldier.

Looks to me she gets off on all the attention she's getting .... 15 minutes of fame.

She's disgracing her son's action and sacrifice. Seems her own family doesn't agree with what she is doing as well (i.e. press release last week and husband divorcing).

Even if we were to conquer all the OPEC states, why do you think that would translate into cheaper gasoline for the American consumer?

Hank, can you elaborate or provide links to this? I haven't seen any of this.

She has taken her time in the newslight to make known her opinions on the whole Israel-Palestinian deal. Which leads me to believe that she isn't here solely for answers...

I agree with a lot of people who already posted that she made a fool of her son. Imagine if he was able to see what she is doing: the shame he would feel. Imagine him having to face the other men in his unit after his mother humiliated him.
He is spinning in his grave right now.

GF, according to yesterday's paper, gas is 5 cents a gallon in Iraq and about 12 cents in Venezuela. Lots of supply= lower prices, even with taxes, greed etc. Back in '98 gas bottomed out around here at 82.9 for the same reasons. It don't cost any more to get it out of the ground now. Joe
