It's obviously a "just because" weapon. Who was that .50 BMG kit maker who got busted, Maddi-Griffin? He had cut his single shot rifle down to a pistol almost a decade ago IIRC, there was even a picture of a young girl firing it.

I was going to post about that pic of the young girl, but couldn't remember who the manufacturer was. The girl was 11-13yrs old, IIRC. And the article said she handled it okay. Yeah that was in the mid-90s or so.

isn't .50bmg powder really slow burning?
so wouldnt only a fraction of the powder have a chance to burn before the bullet exited the barrel?
Yeah, there'd be a lot of wasted energy in a standard milsurp round. Just pull it apart, put the powder in the garden, and reload with about a quarter pound of Bullseye. It'll be a big improvement.

Regards.

I'd shoot it, just to say that I did.

Although I do think the Maadi-Griffin pistol wins on the cool factor.

My God...Just when ya thought that it couldn't get any crazier. I think that I could conceal my old M79 easier than I could that thing.

"I know what you're thinking. Did he fire 6 shots or only 5? Well to tell you the trut, in all ths excitment I kinda forgot myself. Of course this is the Thunder 50BMG, the most powerful handgun in the world. It would blow your head clean off. So the question you gotta ask yourself is, do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?"

lets hope that wheelgun doesnt shave! the shaved bit would look like a chinese throwing star when it flew out and stuck in the neck of the guy next to you.

seriously, the six-shooter is a joke right? that doesnt actually exist does it?

far as the single shot one, id shoot it. anyone have one the want to let me shoot?

AJ was the one that nailed it, the company made it to show off their recoil reducer. That's what's riding under the pistol, they figured they would show it off by making this pistol.

If it ever goes into production (let's hope not) ALL .50 BMG surplus will be banned.

It has nothing to do with USE, this is America. If someone wants to own something like that, they're free to do so.

Well.....Almost.

I'm not much of one for revolvers but... I'd love to have one of those. A friend of mine at the range is always showing up/off with his .500 smith. I'll bet that would shut him up... I'd even let him fire the first round!

Could I have one in a semiauto?
