I dont think that thing would be a wrist breaker...

isn't .50bmg powder really slow burning?

so wouldnt only a fraction of the powder have a chance to burn before the bullet exited the barrel?

flamethrower, yes, wrist breaker, I have my doubts.

You'd better hope he's crawling in the doggy door, because you need a lot of badguy between the entrance and exit points to slow that bullet down.

Do you think they make holsters for that thing? Maybe a nice IWB for concealment. I can see that as a very effective BUG.

Of course I've never been considered the deepest end of my families gene pool either.

I knew someone, somewhere would do something like this eventually.
CA, NJ, NYC, & MA should have a ban on it pretty soon.

I could make a holster for that boomer

Picture it

Vertical shoulder carry

1 1/4" wide shoulder straps

Strip of horizontal loops on opposite side to hold ammo and counter balance

Oh yeah its alllllllll good

See ya

That makes Chris's handcannons look like peashooters :neener:

If you notice underneath the barrel, is a small piston. It looks as though it's got a hydraulic or pneumatic shock absorber, like a mini-howitzer.

It's obviously a "just because" weapon. Who was that .50 BMG kit maker who got busted, Maddi-Griffin? He had cut his single shot rifle down to a pistol almost a decade ago IIRC, there was even a picture of a young girl firing it.

Between the wasted powder and large muzzel break, it wasn't probably that punishing. Within a yard, the burning powder will probably do more damage than the .50 BMG slug itself.

Now, a really lightweight (comparitively speaking to milspec ball) .50 hollowpoint with a faster burning powder, assuming the action can handle it...

That thing sorta reminds me of the old sayings, "For every sailor, there's a boat," and "No one ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public."

Though technically 'interesting' (and maybe a bunch of fun, maybe - ), in the course of lugging that thing around, you could have had a useful rifle.

Maybe we can get those UAE guys at accurate reloading to try it out and
post the videos

I wouldn't even watch somebody else shoot that. I saw a guy's elbow crack his ribs due to recoil. Nothing joyful there.

Yeah I've seen pics of this thing being shot my dealer saw the maker at the Shot Show in 04 I think the pictures of it firing has about a 6 foot muzzle flash.!! :what:
