Its greek... why would you transliterate it to latin?

Or "A man's gotta know his limitations" ... though you might need a 1911 longslide to write all that.

Hundreds of years ago the christian fish was engraved on the barrel to ward off evil spirts and help the bullet fly straight.

"Vi Et Armis", Latin for "by force of arms" or the rough equivalent.

If it ever becomes necessary to use a 50BMG rifle for serious purposes, I think that explaining your rifle's inscription to a court will be the least of your concerns.
