"Make my Day"

Or "A man's gotta know his limitations" ... though you might need a 1911 longslide to write all that.

"Si vis pacem, parabellum."

"Dead End"

"Excitable Boy" You have to hear the Warren Zevon song to understand this one fully.

"Ozymandias", because "Look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!" wouldn't fit.

"Vi Et Armis", Latin for "by force of arms" or the rough equivalent.

Since it is a big boomer.....

How about "And the Lord said...."

I once heard some one say a .50 BMG sound like the voice of God.

You could take a cue from Neil Stephenson, name the rifle "Reason". Then your engraving could say "Listen to Reason"

Remember that if you ever use that weapon the inscription will be read to the jury at your trial. Don't get cute.

If it ever becomes necessary to use a 50BMG rifle for serious purposes, I think that explaining your rifle's inscription to a court will be the least of your concerns.
