Tears of the sun DVD and the Desert Storm play station 2 game.

Both from my kids

Not a thing, the step-children hate me, and the daughter just doesn't care!

The ex-PMS bought me breakfast yesterday after I set up a computer in her office.

My kids gave me the complete video set of "The Band Of Brothers". When it was on HBO I tried to get it all taped but missed a couple of shows due to working a rotating shift. I just got done watching the third video and it's great to be able to watch without waitning until next week for the next one.

I'm taking the kids (and maybe the wife!) to the range after a trip to Cheaper Than Dirt and maybe Fry's. Got to get more ammo and a new keyboard. Dang cats.

My wife told me to clean my reloading room and I obeyed.
I find it important to face facts. She is the boss.

Zip, nothing, nada.

I have no children to give me anything.
I'm not my wifes father, so she doesn't count.
(And my loading area is cleaner than her sewing area, so she can't complain about that!! Ha Ha...)

And what is sadder, I have no father to give anything to.

Maybe I'll take myself to the range, that is if the sprained ankle will work today. If the ankle wont work, then I'll sit and watch NASCAR.

An empty house. Wife took the kids to the in-laws' for a week, leaving me free time to practice at the range with Dad on Friday, and shoot a Personal Defense match at Dallas Pistol Club on Saturday.

Now, swelp me, I want 'em to come home!

lucked out and got a Marlin 17v-----now to track down some ammo------and snatch the scope off the -06 ,of course the "this is the last rifle for awhile" speech.(ya right)lol,she does'nt shoot but she supports me and the kids when we do!

The weekend alone with my six-year old. Wife and the older step-son left for the weekend for an event. So we had a great time together.

All in all a pretty good weekend, just no range time.

I got my first son-in-law............

...Gave my oldest daughter's hand in marriage yesterday, it was a great wedding, indeed making this a great Father's Day. He's a great kid, not a hunter or shooter, but certainly not opposed to it. He loves venison (his Dad is a handgun hunter), and seems to have his head screwed on at least half way straight. Have to count myself as a pretty lucky Father today.

Got a knife sharpner and a couple of shirts.
Spent some quality time with my son today; I replaced the power steering pump on his pickup while he played gofer. Thought it was gonna be a quick job, right now I'd like to strangle the GM engineer that thought that one up!
Can I count the metric tools I had to buy to get the job done as Fathers Day presents too?

I asked for a box of ammo, but the wife said I would shoot it up and nothing to hold on to as a memento of fathers day. I can see her point. She did get me a some realy nice shoes I can go shooting in.

oh yea and I bought myself a Savage 10FP in .308 w/ a 26" barrel.... now my question is, how do I rig this sumbitch for action? Anyone else out there have one?
