Who is behind this anti-gun site of lies?

Basically a bunch of anti sites that banded together and formed a "web ring" to make their sites more accessible from the other sites in the web ring.

I don't know, but there's so much rhetoric being spewed I'm almost tempted to say its a fake site, but unfortunately, I suspect its not. :(

No, it's real.

Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence
Violence Policy Center
.50 Caliber Terror
Gun Guys
Brady Campaign/Million Moms

There are a whole bunch, but I'm pretty sure all these groups are involved.

.50 Caliber Terror
Haha that name made me laugh. Watched to much bad Hollywood films he?

Anyway there is nothing but Anti-propaganda on the site. As far as I can see they do not even try to bring up "facts"(would be difficult as there are no facts supporting their agenda) but simply say gun-control is common sense and everyone else is a dangerous freak.
Nothing really new...

Then there is "our growing family of web sites":

Gun Guys

50 Caliber Terror

Newspaper Loophole

Who is Mary Rosh?

License to Murder

All are bad, but I particularly "love" License to Murder which is against laws that don't require you to retreat (they are calling them "Make my Day Laws") and Newspaper Loophole...You got it, they are trying to ban private sales, from the people who brought you the "Gunshow Loophole" that "needed" to be closed, now they are spreading fear and lies about the "Newspaper Loophole" because, gasp, people can actually buy and sell guns (their property) via ads themselves and don't have to go through a dealer who will take a big chunk of the price.

Just because terrorists don't use .50 calibers in the US does not mean that anti's can't be afraid of them. Remember .50 cals and automatic weapons allowed terrorists to take over all those planes on 9/11.

I believe Freedon Hating Alliance came out after Join Together (Joyce Foundation funded) ended their so called "gun violence" section.

Knowing how gun grabbers work, the Joyce Foundation or Soros probably is tied to it in some fashion.

holy christ.......that one card they have says....

"if you see someone packin a gun, assume their activities are suspicious....you cant tell if theyre law abiding or a criminal"

where do they breed these fools? :scrutiny:

Freedom States Alliance, along with the Gun Guys and a bunch of other sites are all projects of the Mark Karlin PR agency. The agency was hired to do this by the Joyce Foundation. Joel Rosenberg has done some nifty research that brought this link to light.

He had the details laid out in his blog, http://joelrosenberg.livejournal.com/

The Antis must be a bunch of criminals if they fear getting shot after forcefully entering other people's houses at night.
I personally do seldom do this so I'm not really afraid.:)

Ever notice that very few, if any of these anti gun sites offer forums where people are allowed to discuss and debate their points? Think they're afraid of something?

No not from here.

We have enough of our own idiotic anti-sites campaigning to ban everything that has the word ‘gun’ in it. They are mostly run by people who are supported by their wealthy partners and have nothing better to do with their time other than to harass law abiding people. They think they are on a crusade to free the land of the private ownership of firearms to make the UK a safer place, when they should be campaigning for stricter penalties and jail sentences for the criminals who give us shooters a bad name.

Far far more people lose their lives in car accidents than gun related incidents but none of these antis would dream of not using their cars in order to save lives – so why should I give up my guns when no one is in any danger from them!

Do everything to defend your rights guys – we tried and lost our handguns but are fighting to get them back but it’s an up hill struggle. Our challenge is to change the attitude and perception of the general public so that they can see and understand that the handgun ban has not made their lives safer. We lost our handguns due to the Gov’s reaction to the ground-swell of emotion after the Dunblane shootings 10 yrs ago. But you guessed it - gun crime has increased dramatically since the ban and the stats prove it.

I had a discussion with an anti the other day at work and he said I had the ability to massacre people using my Winchester U/L. ‘Yes I could’ I told him and reminded him that he could massacre people by driving his big 4x4 through a busy shopping mall. The point is that both of us are sane people and wouldn’t dream of doing such a thing. Having the ability to do something doesn’t mean you are going to do it!

It is a sad state of affairs here when our own Olympic Pistol Shooting Team can’t practice in the UK and have to go abroad to do so. In the last Commonwealth games we won 20 medals! – we are only really good at two main sports: shooting and rowing (well that’s the Army and Navy then!). Our Olympic Committee asked the Gov if our shooters could practice on Military Ranges under strict control – what was the answer? … you guessed it – NO!!!

So fight fight fight against these idiots because it’s harder to get something back then it is to loose it.
