Anyone a member of the Smith-Wesson forum?

I thought it was taking a while because all of the others take a few hours to join so after half a day I emailed them and then the next morning I was able to get on. I thought there was a problem, but after seeing this, I guess a couple days is normal.

I tried several different times and those characters didn't accept my aol or yahoo e-mail addresses. It may be a good place for S&W owners but you couldn't prove it by me.

You guys are lucky. I can't register on the S&W or Sig forums because they will not accept an Yahoo email address.

I'm a member of the S&W forum, got on immediately with no problem, and have a yahoo email address. The mods are very friendly. Great forum, just not as much traffic yet.

You need to go to Vegas, you must be the luckiest yahoo user alive. I just tried again and absolutely no luck. I have tried both my aol and yahoo. I have no idea how they expect to get more members when they descriminate against aol and yahoo users.

I can't get in either. I must have put an old email address in there when I registered. It recognizes my user name but rejects my password. When I ask for a new one it sends my new password to ???

So, no, I can't get in or contact a living soul to get access. Too bad, huh?

S&W Forum

I have been a participating member for about a year. I use a Roadrunner account address. Don't remember how long it took to light up.

Not as long as the BERSA site that's for sure. They must have a part time person running their Forum.

It's been a few years since I signed on but just like Rugerforum.com, it took me a while to become a member. It worked right away for my sons, though.

I had tons of trouble registering on the S&W forum, wouldnt accept my local ISP and email. The solution I found..... fastmail.fm Go there, get an email account (free) and the S&W forum let me register using the fastmail address. If it matters, I chose the fastmail.us suffix when asked. Good luck.

I'm a member over there too, using my real name.

Great site . . . just as this one is.

Both sites don't tolerate troll activity and make it very enjoyable to lurk and participate.

I have no idea how they expect to get more members when they descriminate against aol and yahoo users.

Most free emails (and aol) were blocked because of the large amount of spam posts generated from those domains. There are almost 30,000 registered members.

I'm registered there. But it's been so long I don't remember if I waited or not?

A lot of forum are going to this because of the amount of spammers they get and have to delete.

I seem to remember some delay in getting on when I registered but it was a small price to pay for all the info and opportunities to spend my money.
