You're in for a treat Gary

Indeed you are, as the other day down at my range, I was shooting my P220R 45, and a nice young man and his girlfriend took the lane right next to me.
During reloading, I stepped back to watch his tiny GF shoot, and was enjoying watching her hanging on with each shot.. I then noticed the rather small hammer, and I asked her boyfriend was it a DAK?
He smiled and said yes, I just got it, and it is my favorite Sig.. And then asked If I wanted to shoot it..
He loaded up 5 rounds for me, and it was my first DAK 6lb trigger pull, and I have to say, it was smooth as butter and broke like ice.. I then asked him if he had ever shot a DA/SA P220, and he hadn't so I handed him my gun and said enjoy..
He hands it back, smiling and said, yours is a 45cal, mine is a 40cal.. My jaw dropped, and we compared them side by side, and they were like twin guns.
The best part, and this is what you will enjoy, (you probably already know with 300 rounds out one) was that I thought while shooting his gun, that it was a 45, as the recoil was so docile/pure to me.. LOL
It turned out to be a P226 40cal DAK, and he turned out to be a LEO from up north out of Santa Barbara down visiting his girlfriend..
Trust me, your Sig happiness hasn't gotten out of the gate yet.. lol
You're gonna be one happy Sig owner with that gun.. and you'll soon be running..
