My guns were attacked by crayola colors

I've been meaning to ask you if you let Jet Li borrow your P99 for the move War with Jason Statham. His character, "Rogue", uses a hard-chromed P-99 that fires what suspicioulsy looks like 5.7mm rounds that are supposedly made of depleted uranium and feature titanium shell casings... because brass casings aren't ninja-assassin cool enough.

I saw that movie at the threatre... We talked about it a lot after it came out.

In the movie - he holds a regular P99, and next to it - he holds a five-seven magazine. Then, they pretend like the mag goes to the gun... Sorry. Just Hollyweird fiction :D

Where is your CX4? I know you have one!!!

I sold it - I did not like it. I used the cash to buy the PX4.

The trigger was heavier than my PS90. And, I prefer the PS90 ergonomics.

Shipwreck, not to criticize your taste, but are you channeling Neo?

In the "Bounty Hunter" series, Steve McQueen carried a cut-down carbine in a pistol caliber with rifle caliber ammo in the loops on his belt 'cause it looked cool.

"Wanted: Dead or Alive"

The cut down rifle was a Winchester 1892 with a .45-70 barrel. The '92 action fired 5-in-1 blanks and the .45-70 muzzle size looked meaner. From what I understand, they sold a lot of toy guns that way too... back in the '50's.

O come on man just not fair.

On a other note can you take a ps90 and put a p90 short Barrel on it? (I think it needs to be approved by the BATF but i don't know.) I think they look funny with the 15 inch

And here I was sitting, expecting to see your guns covered in waxy crayon doodlings!

Yes, you can. However - with the standard barrel, the gun is still shorter than a shortbarreled AR15. I thought it looked strange at first too... But after U own it for a while, it starts to look normal.

I was going to short barrel it - however, with the ATf fees, the barrel and new flashhider, plus having to engrave the receiver and installing the barrel - you are looking at about $600 to do that. $600 to take off 6 inches from the barrel.

I don't have the kinda cash to throw around to do that - I could barely afford the PS90. $600 is another gun. Plus, I think that after U spend the money for that - you'd be a fool to reach for the thing in a defensive situation (unless you had no other weapons)...

I'm repeatedly tempted to short barrel it - but I don't think I will. It also creates headaches for passing it on to my son one day

Shipwreck, how would you compare the FS Walther to the Compact? I've been looking at them for some time and if the compact shoots and feels as good as the FS, maybe I'll look into that.

I much prefer the fullsize. The fullsize is my all time fav gun - I shoot it better than 1911s, and have given up on buying anymore 1911s (as I've had issues with all the ones I've owned - and I spent $1200 on the last one I had).

I've given up on finding another gun I shoot as well as the P99 A/S. I now buy other guns I like - but I have 3 categories...

1. My P99 A/S fullsize
2. Other guns I shoot well, but will never do as well as I do with the P99'
3. Guns that are not accurate at all....

Now, the compact is my fav subcompact sized gun. I carried a Glock 26 for 8 years before I found out the P99s have tennifer on the slide like a Glock does. For the size of the gun - I shoot it better than any gun that size - the SA pull on he A/S trigger is great.

So, in answer to your question - the P99c is probably the best carry gun out there. But, small carry guns do have some limitations.

For pure grouping at the range and for a home defense gun - I'd get the fullsize.

or, just get both :) !!!!!
