Ordered an STI Trojan - looking for holster

Same here. Bought the STI Spartan. I used my Galco Yaqui holster and it messed up my finish on the barrel the first time out. The new Fobus looks pretty nice. Ghost has some nice rigs but kind of $$.

IDPA and Steel Matches. The holster is leather, but on the muzzle, right behind the front sight there is about a thin one inch line of wear on the finish. May be the edge of the holster rubs there when drawing or maybe a real crappy finish.

In any case, I bought this gun for exactly that. I didnt want to tear up my Sig Equinox any more, too expensive a gun.

can't go wrong with a blade-tech. thats what i runn with all my pistols in uspsa, i also used one in idpa.

I have used Blade Teach Holster for years with very good result. I have now switched to G-Code and could not be happier. The G-Code is a couple tenths of a second faster for me than the Blade Tech was. Either holster works really well. But I would seriously consider the G-Code.

Well, a couple of weeks later not too happy with the Fobus. Probably ok for CCW but not for IDPA. Its not full length and rides pretty high on the waist.

Try mine?

Bu,

I just whipped up a batch of 1911 holsters, need one? Email me for a photo (uploading isn't working)

I use that same setup for my 9mm Trojan in IDPA.
My USPSA rig has the CompTac paddle.

I like both, maybe a slight nod to the CompTac, cut slightly lower yet still legal. You definitely want real kydex, not the injection molded stuff.
