Got my tax return on Friday so I went out and grabbed my second handgun. A Springfield 1911 Mil-Spec. Felt great in my hands seems a bit nicer than the GIs. I'm also going to be picking my Smith and Wesson 910 on the same day. :D

I can't wait to shoot the 1911!!!

Us 1911 fans are getting the word out too quickly! Perhaps we should tone it down a bit or they'll start raising the prices!

Once you got 1911 you'll never go back! Glad you got yours and a Springer ain't a bad way to go at that.

Congrats! But have you named it yet?;)

...

Music to my ears.. congrats

Make sure and chk her out first..

Make sure she's clean, and WELL lubed, good and WET, and she should sing ya a beautiful long song..

Enjoy,

Ls

It's true. They are addictive. I bought another one today. Guessing it is about 40 or 50th one.

Can't help myself, I just love .45s....

Uh-Oh

We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers, cuz you have a very much
dreaded mental health issue that can't be treated by any physican. The
only relief in sight is too visit your favorite toy store, and purchase yet
another 1911; then all will be well. This is the only prescription known to
man that will work~! Congratulations, as we hope you get many hours of
satisfaction shooting your new Springer MIL SPEC; which by the way is a
great firearm. Enjoy :D:D:D:D:D

Well, for a while anyway. Then you will need another fix. :D

Congrats.

congrats, the springers are nice and they will serve you well, and man they are good shooters, both reliable and accuracy wise.

+1 on Lonestar's post. :D Get'r wet and run 'er. A person shouldn't be able to have as much fun, legally, as a 1911 can offer.

New 1911 too

Picked up my first 1911, Thur., went to the range yesterday with my Kimber Pro Carry II and loved it. Bought a SR9 a while back and now the .45.
Kimber did great, no problems and had tight groups for me. I need more range time. Ruger did a fine job also and cheaper to practice with.
What is next?

Another 45.

I have been looking for another pistol for a couple of months. I keep looking at other platforms, but each time I keep looking at more 1911's. I really should reach out to other handguns, but for some reason I cannot stop myself from wanting another 1911.
