Has anyone used an after market barrel in their 23? The .40 ammo is getting expensive and I'd I would like to practice with something cheaper in the same gun.

There are some conversion barrels online, but I have never used them.

Thanks,

I don't own one, personally, but, the LoneWolf 9mm conversion barrels are incredibly good, according to the users across the street, at another forum.

I came verrrrrry close to buying a G23, recently.
I came home with a G19 in 9mm, only because the dealer found one in stock.
(Originally, the a guy at the store said that they were sold out.)
9mm ammo is still less expensive than .40.

I own a couple of Glocks, and I have the AA 22lr upper for both of them. These are a must have items.

As for the conversion barrel to 9mm. Its not that much cheaper for 40S&W ammo. If you are shooting that much. then shoot 22lr!

The 22 uppers are fun to shoot with your mdl 22 Glock, but they are not cheap and not as accurate as other 22's...I like them because get to practice with the trigger on the Glock and the more you pull it the more you get used to that trigger.

You can shoot a thousand rounds for the price of 50 40 cal. But one thing I have found is 40 grain high velocity is a must for function of the slide and no jambs.

The AA is better than the Ciener because it stays back on the final round similar to what your normal shooting of a Glock does. Cieners demand 40 Remington high vel or they just jamb and don't feed.

I own a G35 with a Lone Wolf .40S&W to 9mm conversion barrel and I don't recommend aftermarket parts.

Shooting it is great, but there are slight problems.

Just stick with stock or get a G19...you can't get enough Glocks in your safe.

Conversion barrels are the reason I have a Glock 23.

It's a 19(9mm) & 23 (.40) & 32 (.357)

I have not encountered any problems using 19 mags for 9mm and .40 mags for .357 & .40 rounds

I have no experience with a .22 conversion.
