New "evil" black rifle comes home tomorrow

So get this, I go to my favorite local gun shop to get a couple boxes of ammo so I can maybe get to the range in the next week to practice with my rem. 700.

I see my sales guy that I always deal with and he tells me that I REALY NEED to get the s&w M&P 15 that I have been eyeballing tonight or tomorrow. I ask why other than the factory $100 rebate ending soon, and he tells me the store is running a sale this weekend where they discounting any purchases the amount of the sales tax. Basically the rifle is now tax free this weekend!!!!

I go in and get my ammo that I came for(tax free) and then I put down a deposit on the M&P 15 and tell him I will be there tomorrow to get it when I get my checkbook.

All this means I got my black rifle for about $200 off the retail price!!!!!

I am having a very good day today!!!!!!

Well the black rifle is tucked safely in my gun locker and all I need to do now is get some ammo and get the time to get to the range. Hopefully that will happen this week, but probably in a couple of weeks.

Too many family things going on right now to get the time there.

I let you know what kind of fun I have when I do get there.

By the way is there any AR club threads running on the THR site?

I might post the porn pics, but it looks just like the stock pics on the S&W web site. The stock model with the carry handle, etc.

Any news on a "ar 15 club" going on THR? Let me know, since I like to read all the good info on the club threads.
