in the Semi-autos, whats in ur opinion is the best make, and its model

Of the guns I own or have owned the Kimbers are the most accurate, reliable, well made and good looking.
I've got five, of which four are Ultras (3 inch).

Of the five I'd say the Tactical Ultra is the best,

but my new Ultra Covert may take it's place.

Even my old inexpensive Ultra Carry is hard to beat.:)

M2 Carbine, great shooting!! and great guns also, its my first time hearing about kimber (not that i'm the gun wiz), but i'm checking their website now.

and lee n. field, yeah i'm the "guy in Egypt" news travel fast i guess...

and you can replace "best" with "favorite" if it makes you feel any better

"Favorite" is the correct word to use because we are only giving our opinions.

Yes, that's better.
Since I haven't owned all the brands I wouldn't try to say which is best.:)

its my first time hearing about kimber (not that i'm the gun wiz), but i'm checking their website now.

It was about 1995 that a friend brought two new in the box Kimbers to my house for me to try out and tell him what I thought. I had never seen a Kimber before, that I know of.
After several days of shooting I told my Wife, "I've never spent this much money for a gun, but I've got to get one of these".:)

in the title i said favorite, and in the thread best in your opinion

but anyway...

i checked the website , and the 1191 series is great, and yeah i like the ultra ones

actually i wanna place a poll, and the max slots are 16, so i guess one is for "others" the famous brands that i know or more common are
  1. colt
  2. beretta
  3. S&W
  4. Walther
  5. Kahr
  6. SIG
  7. Browning
  8. Ruger
  9. Glock
  10. HK

anyother suggestions ? i know about a couple of other manufacturers but not sure which are most common, or used, would love suggestions

I'm loving my High Standard Crusader Compact =)

No photos, but it's awfully tough to beat Walther's lineup of superb quality 9mm pistols, starting with the P38 and progressing through the P1, P4, P5, P88 (still the finest 9mm ever offered, IMHO), and the current P99 and PPS.

Here is one of my favorites; Beretta 90-two in .40... The other, Taurus PT1911 .45, is in the shop for front sight replacement. Taurus customer (non)service refused to return my (numerous) phone calls before I was willing to mail it to them, so I took it in myself. Will post pic as soon as it comes home
