CZ52GUY...

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I very likely am, but doesn't the texturing on the front strap of your Glock make it a 2nd generation model? I thought (always a dubious proposition) that 1st generation models had a smooth front strap (and back strap), 2nd generations added the textured grips, and 3rd generations added the finger grooves and light rails.

Someone with a little more knowledge want to weigh in on this?

phantom warrior.....that is a 2nd generation glock, but it's the first generation of glock 22's. The only first generation were 17 and 19....tom

re: CZ52 esthetically pleasing, thanks! She cleaned up real nice and the Checkered Walnut grips from www.makarov.com make all the difference in appearance...nice and sticky for shooting also.

re: Glock 22 Gen 1 or 2, thanks for clarifying.

Best wishes,

CZ52'

Wow, Zeke. That's a nice group, there. What caliber is your Desert Eagle? How do you like it?

This is a great thread!

Nice collection ZekeLuvs1911 - looks like you need a SIG P220ST. I'm not sure why, it just seems to be missing. Have you ever fired one?

Nothing special. Just a few very accurate, very reliable pistols. From top to bottom:

Ruger MkII - purchased in 1990
Glock 19 2nd Gen - purchased in 1992
SiG P229 - purchased in 2002
Glock 36 3rd Gen - purchased in 2003

Thanks all. The Desert Eagle is a .44 Mag. I never shot a Sig but I would love to try one sometime. I actually have 2 Beretta 92FS in black but it is not in the picture. (Found a good deal on it) Also missing is a 1911A1 from the American Historical Foundation celebrating the USAF founding.

Joe! I've been looking for mounts for a scope/red dot like those for a while! Where did you get it? Very nice setup. :) Is the bracket single-sided, or on both sides? Hard to tell from the way its laying in this picture.

It's an NPC grip replacement mount. I ordered mine from www.brownells.com

My SW1911 is a very early serial number, so I was hesitant to drill and tap for a conventinal mount. It works very well. No loss of zero when I take it off to use the open sights. I do carry an allen wrench and generally have to snug up the top grip screw about every 100 rounds.

Good Luck...

Joe
