Things not to say during a BATF audit

One of my pawn clients called today, needing proof of ownership interest in the business for a BATF audit. So I copied what he needed and trotted down to deliver it (and see if anything interesting has shown up on his shelves). I looked around to be sure no BATF guy was actually with him and asked, as I handed him what he needed, “So, what about all the guns I’m keeping for you at the office?” He then used a bad word and made aspersions about my parentage. About the reaction I expected. <G>

I'm sure I could have said something worse but what?:evil:
 
"...I'm the guy that dropped the dime to BATF on you..."

"Are these the newer RPG-11's, or are they the older Model 7's?"

"Got my 40MM Bofors ammo in yet?"

Did "da switch" for my AK arrive?

"A few hundred guns in, a few hundred guns out...What the Big Deal G-Man???"

give them 50 or 100 dollars in an envelope, wink and say "no need checking, right" :p

It might work out very well or very bad :x

hey got any more of that steel cored armor piercing rounds for the 7.62x39 that you sold me last week? Those were great! Those were awesome with new happy switch you sold me for my AK!

Oh and I can't thank you enough for letting my Girlfriend buy it for me, with all the domestic violence crap from my ex. I thought I would never get a gun! You are the best! I got a friend that just got out of "the joint" I'll tell him to drop by with his gf too!
