I have a S&W Sigma and like it,but from the under 400 new 9's,my vote would probably be a Bersa, although in fairness i've never shot any of the Taurus models yet and keltec would be no fun at he range

"Best 9mm under $400? Ruger P95 any day. Let's see, $249 NIB. That's a lot money left for ammo."

Help me out, please. Where can I get a new P95 NIB for $249?

Larry

CDNN had the blued version for that price, but I'm not sure they have any left.

Some other 9mm's bargains to look at.

FNP9m $390
Steyr M9A1 $340
The Myriad of used LEO handguns

talking about brand new? hm. if i was going to get shot the moment i left the gun store and i had $400 cash to arm myself with and there were no used guns available... i'd probably end up with a taurus or sigma, and a box of ammo.

the story will change dramatically with $450 though. that will get you a brand new and duty proven glock, XD, CZ, etc.

whoops. i take what i said abotu the taurus and sigma back. people seem to love the FNP-9, so i'll go with that one and a box of ammo.

Currently, the FNP is running in the low to mid $400 range. Even in CDNN. The KP95 in CDNN is also under $400.

FNP-9 hands down.

3 16 round mags free shooters pack etc....

Solid reliable gun that puts 9mm in the same hole.

Ruger P95

Just got mine (NIB), you can't have it!!:neener: Great, great, great gun, WAY less than $300, let alone $400. Wife & I bought and shot it last weekend. Can't go wrong!

+1 on the Stoeger Cougar

I have a Cougar in .40 S&W and it's super. The same weapon is available in 9x19mm and would also be a lot of fun to shoot. It is a great weapon for the money and I trust mine completely. I use it as a truck gun and BUG when on duty. It might be a little big in that role for some, but works for me.
