BFR

Not me, mine is in 45 Colt Plus
Its the only gun I have seen marketed that way
I suppose its a Casull without boring out the cylinder all the way

Mine is a 460 Mag.............& it is a tack driver. Couldn't find a buck this season, but did shoot a doe with it last month.

Yep, sure do have a BFR in 500 Mag as well as one in 45-70.

The 500 Mag has taken deer, hog and black bear, all with a 370 gr. hard cast bullet going about 1900 fps.

It is a tack drivin son of a gun.

I've had mine for about a year...needless to say I don't shoot it that much. It is a BEAST with full house loads.

The 385gr and 370gr hurt the worst. Biggest I've fired is 500gr that produced lots of smoke. All very accurate but painful.

Rule 1: Ditch the grips! I picked up some different one and got some shooting gloves. It's still painful but at least now I don't want to drop the gun after every shot.

I have the 10" version.

If any of you 500 Mag guys want a very large load data base for the 500 Mag let me know, I can cut and paste it to an E-mail or attach it if you have the Excel program.

Loads from 275 gr. up to 700 gr. bullets.

I pick up my 500 today. I can't wait to send them big boys down range. This thing has Tupilo Honey dripping off of it. As a mater of fact, I just want to sit and hold, and rub it for a while.

Sorry Ya'll. I get kinda emotional about these things:uhoh:
