I talked to a LEO with a bomb sniffing dog last year. It was a sweet lab. I asked what his name was and the LEO said "Wesson." I thought that an odd dog name until he told me his name was "Smith" so the team was "Smith and Wesson."
Very cool.

One Dog gun name that comes to mind is Taurus!

I have a wonderful GWP (german wirehaired pointer), named "Ruger."

For a gun related name. I think even if it is a female dog I would stay away from "Missed".

I'd also like to know what kind of dogs those are. (My guess is Brittanys. I've wanted one for along time.) They are gorgeous dogs, and usually good hunters.

Yes sir, both of them are Brittany Spaniels. Great bird dogs and even better family dogs.
