Feel free to use this thread to post pictures of your gun collections, safes, reloading rooms, ammo supply, and any other impressive gun-related what-have-yous. Some of those pictures of THR members' magazine collections were impressive. Thanks.

P.S.: Before anyone criticizes, I am away from my home computer and do not have access to my pictures to kick the thread off. If you don't want to post pictures, then don't, but don't complain either.

These sort of accidents happen with such frequency.
Apparently, you are more likely to lose your guns in a boating accident than you are to use them in self defense.

The Brady Campaign really should look into this for their talking points.

What a strange coincidence! I also lost my entire collection in a boating accident!

Those pesky canoes are quite unstable. Anyone else here encounter this strange phenomenon?

I don't have guns. I work for the Brady Campaign. I'm here to report you all when the time comes.

Mine were all lost when the SS 2RCo was sunk ,of all places, right over the Marianas Trench, since then I've given up Yachting. All that survived was myself (I Yacht alone on serious trips--don't want any mutiny situations), my zodiac raft-how I made it into port--it was then stolen by pirates. The SS 2RCo flew the Somali Flag and was registered there because of their lax tax laws and it makes the priates friendlier. The Pirates were nice enough to drop me off at a US port where I hitched a ride back to Missouri where I noticed that my Keltec P3AT was still in my pocket. So that's all the guns I have and I'm sticking to that story. And OH yeah those Pirates were the guys that the Seals took care of recently. So I think I have all the bases of my story covered.

Shung, those are some fine rifles. How tough is it to get your own black rifle as opposed to the Sig ones from the military?

Well.. the main difference is that my SiG550 was given to me (brand new) by my country :neener:.. I actually had to pay for all of my other EBRs

Other than that, it was fairly easy..

all of these AR's exept one were purchased prior decembre 2008, still under the old law, which allowed private sales without any purchase permit..

If I had bought them new, like I did with other guns, I only would have had to get a purchase permit, that allows me to buy 3 guns from the same buyer. To get this purchase permit, I have to present an empty record (no fellony in my past) and pay a 50$ tax.. Its quite fast.. normally it only takes me 1/2 an hour at the police station.. If i do it by mail, it can take about 3 or 4 days..

The "hardest" one to get was the 2nd from top.. it's actually a fully automatic Colt M4, on a genuine Colt M16A1 lower. These require a special permit for collector, which cost 150$ for 1 gun, and require a bit more time (1 week) .

One last picture of my issued SIG550 with some "friends"..

of course, all my guns disappeared in a tragic boating accident as well.. happened in december 2008, the day after our law changed ;)

Ok I'll play a little here are some of my S&W's if I get brave and some extra time I'll show a 1911 or two later. :scrutiny:

Given these are somewhere between Somalia and the Marianas trench:evil:

Eh, the reloading/gunsmiffin' area is coming along, it's a work in progress. Don't have any "collection" photos, just the WWI/WWII stuff above the bench for me to gawk at.

Btw, a lot of gardening/boating/canoeing accidents are happening ;)

29 .. but I got a bad EBR disease 2 year ago.. I purchased all the 5 AR's in 18 months..

The key is to maintain your GUN RATIO* above 1... this is a very important notion to understand...

My gun ratio HAS TO keep above 1, always !

*gun ratio : number of guns/number of winters you've seen
