I lost all of my guns to a tragic accident involving a hamster, 10 feet of garden hose, and a dwarf dressed in a pink tutu and clown shoes and wielding a spatula.
It was terrible.
I saw that same guy at an Obama rally once.

Well...glad we're not all so careless with our guns. ;):)

I don't intentionally collect Browning designs, they just seem to end up at my house. I like to shoot them and I like to look at them.

Is that a Saiga shotgun on the first picture? Whats the capacity of the magazine?

Yes, it is an unconverted Saiga-12. The magazine is a Surefire with 12 capacity. At 13 inches I think it is actually kina rediculous- but I still had to have 2.

Saiga? Saiga? You post a photo with an Octogan barreled 94 and someone asks about the Saiga? Let me sell that man some Florida real estate...

What is that, looks rifle-length? I see no cuts for a front sight hood. An aluminum fore-end band? What is that? I have a 94 xtr (wow, what a smooth and beautiful gun) and a 1956 plain-jane 94 30-30. I really want a 1967 Canadian Centennial Carbine (20") - I handled one at a gun show and that octagon barrel was just such a great balance. yes, heavier than the standard, but oh so balanced, and it seemed so much more recoil friendly.

Tell me about that octagon barreled piece...

Mine...

It is a 1968 Winchester Model 1894 Buffalo Bill Commemorative. Rifle length 26" heavy octagon barrel. The buttplate, barrel bands and forend cap are nickel plated. The receiver is blued, engraved and has gold inlay. Embedded in the stock is a Buffalo Bill Cody medallion. Recoil is tamed alot by the heavy barrel, but make sure you have that steel buttplate shouldered squarely! In 1968 they were sold in pairs; 26" rifle along with a 20" carbine for $1200. I picked mine up locally.

My little collection:

Unfortunately, I lost EVERY SINGLE ONE OF my guns in this picture in a tragic, tragic boating accident that made them sink to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean.

You people sure are careless with your boats, you know?

I've never had a boating accident in my life.

However, I did get really sad when I landed my plane and discovered that the baggage compartment was unlatched the whole time I was over the Gulf of Mexico. I still miss my guns.
