Walther PPS or G26

I have a PPS and my son has a G26. We both are happy.
Mine is slim but gives up round count. His is fat but has higher round count.

I've never tried the PPS, certainly would love too. I do like the 26 even though it is a bit wide. A cheap Uncle Mikes IWB holster has worked well in the past with the 26 for me, as does a Galco Skyops.

I much prefer the Walther trigger (crisp) over the Glock's (mushy), but that's a personal preference, as are many things gun-related. The best thing you can do it to rent or borrow one of each and blast away until you find the one that best fits your hand and eye.

I have the Glock 26 and it's a super pistol. It is it's own little army. However, it's not terribly comfortable to carry so i don't carry it often. I've sampled the PPS and own a Taurus 709 Slim and they are easy to carry which means they will be. I voted for the Walther.

Get whatever fits your hand and concealment methods best.

That being said, I've pimped my PPS and carry rig plenty, feel free to search my posts for lots of good PPS info.

PPS; but why settle for 9mm when it comes in .40? I own one its, 100%. Both or great firearms but the G26 is not quite as comfortable for IWB carry.

I get one more round with 9mm
I can find more ammo than target/range type cheaply with a wider selection (at least in my area)
I want faster follow-up shots
The gun is over-engineered for .40S&W, it is WAY over-engineered for 9x19

ok one walthers are great but id go with the glock, first of all. you can use bigger cap mags, such as a g19 mag. cause those are conceal guns you need to think about the holster, a good iwb will hide the chunkyness of a glock. also the walther has almost no track record. my big prob is that with the walther its a very over designed frame and will rub your skin raw

Bought a PPS about a week ago and have about 500 rd thru it. It rocks...and it hasn't left my side since I bought it; very easy to carry. 9mm is the way to go IMO, cheaper to practice with and its actually a pleasure to shoot. I find with the recoil on small .40s I tend to shoot them a bit less and am therefore less proficient with them. The glock would be great as well but for me, its just too fat for good concealment (I live in florida, its hot) and comfort. I got my PPS for $539 so price can be close to the glock.

I have only handled both. I really prefer the feel of the pps over the glock. Plus can't say that I'm too fond of the glock in general.
