Heres what they are and here the link. I only carry DoubleTap ammo. Low flash, high velocity and he uses good bullets. I got forget what the controlled expansions ones are but the bonded ones are gold dots. Plus they are cheap for what you get. hope this helps a bit.

.40 S&W 200gr Controlled Exp. JHP 50rds.
The 200gr Controlled Exp. JHP @ 1050fps from a Glock 23!
990fps 435 ft/lbs from a 3.5"bbl.
1100fps 538 ft/lbs from a 4.5"bbl.
Box of 50rds is 37.0.

Im 99% sure your right, I just wasn't sure enough to put a name to them but that is what I was thinking. Great bullets. I prefer lighter bullets for city carry and heavy ones for the great outdoors. Im sure there are other manufacturers of 180+ gr bullets, but I use DoubleTap a lot and highly recommend them.

If you want to shoot 200 grain bullets, get a 10mm!

I would if I could find an all metal DA/SA pisstol capable of firing full house 10mm Auto I would...:)

Lots of S&W 1006 and 1066 out there. They are built like tanks.

I'm looking for a S&W 1006/1026 for more than one year in my area (Western WA)...I'm not comfortable in buying firearms over the internet...I want to inspect the gun before buying

It's either DA or SA, not both. DA/SA is a stupid concept.

Get a Glock 20 or a 1911.

reakshow10mm

Maybe is stupid for you but not for me and many other people.

I do not like polymer guns and even less the Glock with its safety trigger.

Not a fan of the 1911 either...

Still on the prowl for a good used S&W 10mm autoloader...
