Man Busted With Massive Weapons Cache

I almost have a "massive" stockpile of guns, I just have a huge one with two bolt rifles. I plan on buying a semiautomatic machine gun assault rifle or a machine pistol that fires more than 12 rounds before reloading.

....just pure media sensationalism. Why can't the media do what they're paid to do/supposed to do and that is "report the news in an unbiased and honest manner"?

Because they are in the business of "selling news", if the story gets a few ratings points more than the competitors they win. Just like used car salesman (wearing a plaid jacket), use exaggerated adjectives to describe the product. Once it's off the lot and they got their ratings no one will care....old news isn't worth much.

Just heard the Fox news report on this... not mentioning the headdress anymore. Wish I did not have to do searches to find out relevant facts.

is he having a bad eye day or did he get that look resisting arrest?
Must not have made it through the OP...
"Officers found him hiding in some bushes and tackled him when he tried to run away again. The officers used pepper spray to subdue him. "

Reported on Fox.

And we all know what that means rofl

And guys, chill out. Yeah, the mainstream media's typically anti-gun biased. But this gun is a wanted criminal stashing weapons in a hotel room. I'm glad he has been arrested and charges brought against him.

That it's going to be more accurate than if it comes from MSNBC, NBC, or CNN? Because that's what it really means.

There's also nothing massive about that man's weapon collection, any way you look at it. Just glad the authorities stopped him before he did anything foolish with them, as he seems to have intended to do.

Always good when a bad guy gets thrown in jail. My heartburn comes from the treatment of the inanimate objects rather than the person. If it involves weapons it is always played up and poor or downright false information is thrown out like the gospel by people who wouldn't know a AR from an AK. And that doesn't do our cause any good at all.

His .50 is a .50 Beowolf. Big deal and his "grenade launcher" a glorified flare gun. Oh wow, I'm so excited.

Seriously, wow. Just wow. Go back and read again, I've posted this like 4 times in this thread.

ROTFLMAO...They're like pitbulls...not gonna let go. And, we wonder how the news reports get out of hand.

Well now he comes in on page 3 with a link to the "massive" quote, making it even more confusing. That should have been in from the start and it wouldn't have been so disjointed. So, turns out ABS did use the "massive" term, which makes them idiots :)

Shoot, it's been massive since the post was titled...like a snowball downhill. I've been sitting here wondering whether to call my place a bunker or a depot.

Sounds like a wannabe mall ninja terrorist who went off his meds.

Seriously, he had a night vision rifle scope and a fake-M203 flare launcher attachment. That combination absolutely pegs the mall ninja scale. Think about it. And he thought he could take on a U.S. military base with a flare launcher and a 10-round short-range carbine?

I wonder if he had the special boots that let him climb walls, too. :scrutiny:

That, and it sounds like he picked up a soft armor vest for a couple hundred bucks at a flea market and duct taped a homemade trauma plate to it.

And yeah, the media are idiots. Apparently they can't be bothered to spend a few minutes on Google before sending their articles to be published. Whatever, I stick to The Wall Street Journal.

No, no, no...you don't duct tape them to the vest...you tape them directly to your chest and back. Some mall ninja you would be! :D

That's like saying one turd smells better than another....

Well, since I don't want to get into the semantics of such things with you, as my conduct would shortly cease to be High Road acceptable, I'll drop this matter with one request; lets keep the personal opinions about news outlets to ourselves.

I call my collection a Museum. Sound less harsh and evil?

And accurate. I was not the one giving you grief about the massive thing... I just wanted to point out your collection. I show my wife everytime she complains about my "collection".

Not sure if someone has already thrown this out there, but could this man possibly be Gecko45, outted by a couple of cops who weren't read on during one of his top secret undercover black ops?
