Bersa .380. Not bad.

Just got back from the range today after firing my brother's Bersa Firestorm. Fed it 3 different boxes of factory fodder as well as some 90 gr. Hornady XTP hollow point reloads.. NEVER hiccuped once ,..No FTF, N0 FTE..nata ,zip. Now THAT is pretty impressive for a NEW pistol regardless of make or price. Add to that the fact that small semi's are generally tempermental I expected a problem or two. This little pistol really impressed me. It out-performed Walther
PPK/PPKS's and Baretta 380' that Ive shot in the past. Accuracy was decent at ten yards and the trigger was acually quite good on single action, with double action a bit on the creepy side. All in all this little gun is a keeper.
I'd buy one in a second...!!

I disagree. That's what I expect from a new pistol.

I've shot a all steel Bersa .380, My Dad payed $235 new w/two mags. I think for the price it's hard to beat. The one thing I did not care for is that the safety lever moves opposite of my 1911 and Makarov.

I put about 50 rounds through mine this morning, no issues whatsoever. Very light in the recoil department, easy to handle. I couldn't be happier with it.

I like mine, but it's still having some issues. It's having some hiccups in the first 100 rounds using Remington ammo. I have read several postings at Bersa Forums that encourage a break in period of a few hundred rounds or to try different ammo before servicing. I guess I'm little disappointed as every other new firearm I have tried has worked well out of the box after a good clean/lube. We'll shoot it some more and see what happens.

I've not had a single issue with the UC45 in stainless...and *I* think it looks just as good as any up to twice it's price.

Nasty, I've had the stainless UC45 for a couple years and couldn't be happier with it. If you ever get in a spot ya need some money, pm me for an offer.

I've had my 380CC for about 2 1/2 years and have never had a single issue with it, other than a grip screw coming loose. It's every bit as reliable as my Beretta 84 or my BHP laying next to it.

Both of my Bersa Thunder .380's have about 800 rounds through both. Never had a stoppage or an issue. Used one to requalify for my Texas CHL.

I prefer to carry either a Glock 26 or Glock 19, but sometimes they are just too big, so I carry a Thunder .380.

IMO Bersa's are often overlooked needlessly.

They are good guns especially for the price, I am considering their little .45 for an ankle gun since I cant find a Detonics Combat Master

+1 One-Time...the next best thing going.

Although I believe the Bersa *will* be slightly more reliable and accurate.
