In this past season of 24, there was a M1A used. It had a folding stock and other fancy gadgets on it. What model was it exactly and where can a folding stock be found? Thanks.
They need to make a gag season on 24 called "Jack Bauer's Day Off." The first four episodes can be him sleeping, then he wakes up, drops a duece for a half hour, checks messages, and has absolutely no life for the remaining 19 hours.
P.S. I've never seen the show, but your best bet for finding out guns from a movie, show or game is to visit imfdb.com (internet movie firearm data base).
It was a Springfield M-1A in SOPMOD configuration that you are referring to. It was used by Pavel Tokarev (the Russian hitman) to kill Renee. Jolly Green had it right that you can find more info about it on imfdb.org.
It was a collapsible stock, not a folding stock in the rifle. It also had a suppressor and scope mounted to it. Here is a better pic
Negative. It was an M1A that was used by the Russian assasin to kill Renee Walker. I know Jack used the SCAR-L in the most recent episode. I am talking about the Russian assasin's rifle.
Jack even called it a "Springfield M1A" by name. I remember, because when I heard that it really perked my ears up. You see a lot of gun porn on 24, but they typically don't have specific dialog about makes and models. Product placement. I wonder if M1A sales spiked, after that.
