I have heard that some Walmarts in Texas sell reloading supplies. Would anyone let me know if the Walmart in your area has reloading supplies. What is typically available now? Are their prices reasonable compared to Grafs, Midway, etc.?

Well I hope that comes west. Just what I need... Chinese powder and primers.
I can hardly wait.

The Walmart nearest me here in E. Tennessee sells a limited amount of reloading products - a half dozen types of powders, CCI primers (when they can get them), popular size bullets and brass. Most of the products are targeted at the "deer rifle" community.

2 in my area removed firearms & related items , not even a camoflaged or orange hat !!!!!

1 is stocked to the hilt but not with reloading supplies , YET !!!

One of the three wally's here in my spot of Florida sells reloading supplies....prices are OK - not great, not bad........all depends on how you buy - if you're a bulk buyer, buying powder in 8# jugs, primers by the 5000, etc......Graf's and others have better prices. If you're looking for 1# of powder, 1 bags of wads, etc. for new load development, they'll save you any hazmat or shipping.......

Loveland and Fort ollins Colorado each have one. Prices are typical to local Sportsmans World.

I've been to walmarts all over texas and have never seen any, though I"ve heard that rumor too. most of what I see is walmarts not carrying guns anymore.

Nothing in NY :) but I seen powders for muzzle loaders and bullets for them...

My experience has been pretty much like Greyling22's

Have never seen reloading supplies in any walmart I've been in. In Texas or anywhere else.

Fountain, CO Wal*Mart sells quality stuff. Speer and Lyman manuals, RCBS starter kit with the single stage, 5-0-5, measure, block, ect. Individual RCBS components like impact pullers and funnels are available there. They also sell primers, powder, and rifle bullets. The Big R farm supply store in Fountain sells the same as well as guns and holsters.

The one in Susanville, CA (Northern part of the state) had Red Dot (8# kegs) and Unique (1# bottles), shotgun wads and shot when I stopped there on my way through on Wednesday. Shot was $49.95 a bag. None of the Wal-Marts in Western Oregon that I've been in carry reloading supplies any longer.

Hope this helps.

PS: The Sportsman's Warehouse in Medford had a good supply of powder, bullets and Primers last week, and the Sportsman's Warehouse in Reno, NV had an even better supply, but neither had any Winchester 231 or Reloder 7 in stock.

Nothing at the ones I've been to in Houston. (Meyerland, Pearland, Dunvalle, 45 S. & Beltway) It'd be nice though.

Rumour control has it that the wally world in NE San Antonio is going to start carryin reloading supplies. Just waiting to see it.

Which one - DeZevala, 1604 & 281, other? I wouldn't mind for some things, though I still like to support either the local Mom & Pops or a place like Grafs that is truly pro-gun.

I had just as soon they stay out of the reloading business. I'll buy my reloading equipment and components elsewhere.

I feel the same way. I don't need Wally's putting my little Gallensons in UT out of business.
Only slightly related... I bought a little 3-tined rake at the Hom% De*ot the other day. After getting it home I noticed the sticker said "made in France". WOW! We even import rakes.
