Reloading Supplies in Arlington, Texas?

Not in Arlington or Grand Prairie. Sportsmans Warehouse in Lewisville (I-35 & FM 3040) has the best selection I have found and better prices than Cabelas on most stuff.

I am also suggesting Sportsman's Warehouse. Not only are they better than Cabela's, but Bass Pro also.

+1 for Sportsman’s Warehouse. I’ve been told the Dallas Morning News has coupons for $10 off purchase, often.

Arlington Arms Gun Co. has some reloading stuff, but Cabelas and Sportsman's Warehouse have much more. Arlington Arms: 823 Oram, just NW of Collins @ Park Row.

Last time I checked, Cabela's had better prices on Lasercast bullets than SW, but SW had better prices on powder.

You guys should do a group buy.

Beat the hazmat and sales tax on powder and primers and sales tax on bullets.

It has been done successfully several times over the last few years.

Just a thought...

Alpine Shooting Range

Are you forgetting Alpine Shooting Range just south of you? You can buy your stuff AND shoot up some that you just made at the same time. The are located in the middle of the Mansfield/Kennedale/Forrest Hill area.:)

Their website is http://www.alpinerange.com/

Alpin Shooting Range

Not forgetting--just didn't know about it. It would be a pretty good hike for me and would take me past both Cabelas and Cheaper Than Dirt (although I do not know how much CTD keeps in stock).

If Alpine had 200 & 300 yd ranges I would be over there as soon as I get my .308 delivered and set up.

Alpine's Online Store is temporarily closed so I can't tell what or what brands it stocks.

Sportsmans Warehouse generally runs mail order prices, but without the hazmat fees or such. My local shops want $25+ for a pound of Varget, for example, but Sportsmans Warehouse has it for $18. My last 8lb tub of Varget was $113.

It's worth the drive.

The reason I asked about Arlington....

is because I work there. I live in northwest Dallas so usually I shop at Sportsmans Warehouse. I went there today (Saturday afternoon) and they are out of a bunch of stuff. I asked the manager if they had decided not to carry reloading supplies or what? He claimed they're having trouble buying the stuff. There were almost no cast lead bullets (Lasercast or Meister) and not a very good selection of primers. I also went over to the section where they keep the plastic ammo boxes and all they had there were boxes for 9mm and 38 special.
All in all I was really disappointed with them (Sportsmans Warehouse) today. I think I'll run out to Cabela's tomorrow and see if they have a better selection.

Don't know how often you make it out to Weatherford, but the Gibsons in town caries reloading stuff as does Guns Plus just off the interstate. Powder, bullets, primers, cases, and some milsurp stuff is available at decent prices. They're all pretty good people too, from who I've dealt with.

!!!

Guns Plus closed yesterday. Gibson's has a limited supply, but will order what you want. Bill's is on the road just before Alpine. He has alot of supplies for reloading.

West of downtown Ft. Worth on 30, there's Elk Castle - take the Cherry St. exit and it'll be on the service road right there.

I didn't check prices last time I was in, but they didn't seem to have any trouble with reloading stock.
