Great, Flavalanche, now there are going to be more kids running around! Lol! Entertaining

Oh it get's more entertaining...

Note the date stamp on that picture. April 2nd.

A buddy of mine shot that hog two days prior to that picture. He was hunting my spot and I told him when that hog would show up, which direction he would come from and how long he would stay. I did everything but tie him to a tree. We've been watching this hog because he was the only male coming in for a long time.

He called me up and said he got that male hog. I figured he needed help gutting it or didn't want to put it in the back of his Tahoe and wanted to use my truck. I was wrong...

Turns out he stuck this pig and couldn't find it. No pass through, no blood anywhere and nothing more than a few strands of hair under the feeder. We searched the entire area until 2:00 am, then the next morning from 9:00 am until about 2:00 pm. Nothing.

I hunted the area that evening until dark hoping it would come to the feeder. He hunted it the next day until dark and it didn't come in that night either.

It was really starting to bother him that this animal was out there sufferring because he missed an easy shot. We both went out the next day, April 3rd, and hunted until dark to see if he would come in to the feeder. Nothing...But I pulled the memory stick from the camera just in case.

He shot the hog March 31st. The evening of April 1st (the night I was there), he showed up on the camera. He was the first hog to the feeder that night, about 30 minutes after I left the area with an arrow sticking out his left side.

That picture was taken April 2nd, the night my buddy was out there. My buddy left about 8:00 pm. I showed my buddy the pics and told him that if he was the first hog at the feeder one night and tearing off a piece the next, he's obviously not sufferring.

He finally got another shot at that hog a few days later and put it down. He said his arrow was still in the hog, now broken off at the skin and that the shot was high and back from the vitals essentially missing anything even remotely vital and that the Rage broadhead didn't open up at all.

These were from yesterday. They are actually videos, click on each photo to play the different ones.

Mine is a Moutrie as well. Not sure of the model number. It's a couple years old, so I imagine any current Moutrie model would better it.

Not sure if this will work; should be a video of a couple lads jostling for seniority.

here are a few old pics. Some of these hogs are hairy, look like ewoks. I used moultrie camera on these but have since switched brands. A few years ago I shot at a quick little hog with my bow, and the arrow went high. It ricocheted off the hogs back and stuck in a tree. He made the loudest squeal and ran off.
