We re after this fella this year. He was an 8 last year. he's Smaller than "the big one" we were chasing last year. Some lady who lives on the road we use to access our lease snagged him on us opening day last year. Chased him all bow season...
. soooo we're hoping to snag this guy this year.

Been watching this guy since july. He disappeared for a few weeks at the end of September. Made a mock scrape last week and put out a dripper and he showed back up the next day. Getting after him this weekend.

I hear you Rick but I'm not sure I can pass him up if I see him. Here is another buck I'm looking for in Northern MI during rifle season starting Nov. 15. Last year he never came out during daylight in the 5 days I hunted. He's a big swamp buck and has a reddish brown coat compared to the other deer in the area. We named him Big Red. Lol

I've been after 2 of these for a couple years now. Don't know if they're still alive or not since I can't find a trail cam that will cooperate and work like it's supposed to.

I CAN confirm that the big hoss is still on the hoof as of last month. Great news! Still a nocturnal deer though....

That pic is taken in the riverbottom.
It is a waterway in the foreground, then soybeans all the wsy to the far treeline.
