very nice rifles. my local shop has a few of them in stock. wish these would have been available when i was in the market for my .308

I think it uses the Hawkeye trigger which is not adjustable.

Its interesting that everyone trashes Ruger's accuracy... except for this one rifle.

The trigger is much better than the older MKII trigger. It is the newer LC6 trigger. If you need a lighter pull, you can put in a Timney. The standard trigger is not adjustable.

I have owned five or six Ruger M-77's and been around another dozen or so and never saw one that would not shoot. I think folks like to bash Rugers and the accuracy bashing is just an off shoot of that.

The LC6 trigger is really easy to modify. They sell an aftermarket spring for it that will lessen the pull a little. Also, you can polish or file (if you have the confidence and skill) the sear and trigger to give you a safe and very light pull. I have an old m77 trigger that I did a trigger job on and now it is down to about 2lbs. I didn't want it any lighter than that but it would not have been too hard to do.

Balrog, ECVMatt,

I have to agree with you on these statements, my buddy's M77 is scary accurate, a .7MM Mag. Ruger has always produced accurate firearms, been in business how long now?, seem to have figured something out right!

Just a quick update from C-Products:

I contacted them last night via their website and received a call at 9:00 AM this morning. They are shipping me a new mag today and sent a return label so I could send the other mag back for their inspection. I offered to handle this through MidWay, since that is where I bought the mag, but they stated that they wanted to handle it themselves.

I would say that is pretty darn good customer service. C-Products will be getting more of my business.

That seems like a really nifty concept and a fun range toy / woods hunter. Definitely one of the better products Ruger has come out with in years.
