Trying to decide between these two for a carry gun.

I've had a chance to hold a P220 SAO and it felt good in my hands. Rented a P239 as well and it shot really nice and true.

I haven't had a chance to try the SRT yet but I hear good things, anyone have experience with both and can comment?

Well they're both totally different guns, I can carry a p239 practically anywhere but with a full size p220 I don't know how convenient it would be, also a SAO gun is probably not the best choice for carry. I've got a p226 with the SRT and I love that trigger, but DAK is my personal preference for carry.

I should clarify, I'm looking at the P220 compact not the fullsize(or carry). The P220 compact SAO I held felt good, I was just wondering if anyone had experience with the P220 compact SAS.

I have both a Sig P239 9mm DAK and a Sig P220 Compact SAS DAK. They are both great IWB carry weapons IMHO (the P239 carries a tad bit more comfortable than the P220 Compact (IMHO)). I guess it pretty much comes down to what caliber you want, if you want 9mm, .40S&W or .357SIG then the P239 is your choice, if you want .45ACP then the P220 Compact is what you want. If you want me to post some side by side pics of the two, let me know and I can take some photos tonight and post them here.

Thanks a ton AZGlock13, that's what I was hoping to hear!

If you have time to take a photo for them side by side showing the width that would be awesome as well!

They are both about the same in height, but the P239 is a tad shorter than the P220c (not by much, I'm not counting the beaver tail on the P220c). They are pretty close in width, though I have rubber Hogues on the P239, which can make it look and feel just a wee bit thicker than it would be with the factory plastic grips.

That's exactly what I was hoping to see. I didn't know how much bigger the P220 Compact is, pretty sure I've made up my mind on the P220.

Thanks once again for the photos, they were a real help.
