KelTec KSG

I saw one at the local gun show last Saturday and about choked at the $1500 price tag. Now I understand why...

I have been wanting one for some time, but after having gotten to handle one in person... I really really want one! Seemed very smooth and sturdy. Maybe in a few years...

Eh, I was excited about them the first time I saw it. Probably the same G&A mag cover story mentioned. Reviews have been mostly positive, but the cost is prohibitive for most. Personally, the only Kel-Tec products on my list are a P11 for summer carry and a Sub2000 configured for S&W 5906 mags.

For $2k, +1 on the SBS S-12.

Gotta agree here. If the KSG would consistently sell for the $650 Kel-Tec claimed it would (Series 70 seems to have lucked out), it would do a lot better.

Now I'm not advocating price gouging, but when the dealers are asking $1800 and can't keep KSG's on the shelf, I think it's doing just fine! Eventually, supply will catch up with demand, and the prices will come down to MSRP or below.

I'm fairly certain that is because they aren't getting KSG's on shelves to begin with. I haven't seen one in any of the 8 or 9 stores I frequent. I'm not saying that's the case everywhere, just my experience with it.

There are a few out there. I spent a couple of hours with one last week.

A number of people here have reported buying them as well.

I love it. I would like to see some changes but it works great. A full length tactical shotgun length barrel in a very short very maneuverable firearm that is capable of putting out a lot lead very quickly. I have customers and friends that want mine but it's not for sale.
