Good shot! My dad and I shoot our handguns seriously out to 100 yards frequently. I busted a rabbit at 60 with my single six while it was running across the road one time. Here's the kicker, it was nighttime and the bunny was in the headlights. NOW THAT'S LUCK!
My rabbit was the coolest and one of the smartest pets I have ever owned [untill it ate my couch, phone lines, power cords and various other things I used to enjoy].
Good shootin.

Good shot and perhaps a chance for folks to share their "lucky shot" stories. Or should that be another thread ?
In the spirit of Elmer Keith's 600 yard deer shot with a 44 magnum revolver, here are a couple more quick ones .
1) My shot - Ruger single six with 22 WMR cylinder , 75 yards at a sitting pheasant . (tasted good)
2) My oldest brothers shot ( RIP my brother) I was there when a small flock of ducks arose from a nearby creek. 100 yards, on the fly with a auto French pistol in 32 long chambering. Peeled a duck out of the flock slick as snot on a door knob ! (mud hen - yuck )
I've been pretty impressed with my oldest son, he shoots rabbits with my pellet rifle. The scope is waaaaaay out of whack. He just kinda sights down the side of the barrel. He don't miss much.
60 yards with a handgun is a good shot, no matter the caliber. Congrats
The gun is in .357. I was target shooting at the time (you would have thought the rabbit would have known he should stay off the shooting range). I was shooting .38 spl with a 158 gr SWC.
Justin, I know just what you mean. Every once in a while I shoot balloons with that gun from 50-75 yards and you can almost count the seconds between your shot and the impact. At least that's what it seems like.
